    Post Race Thoughts - RC point of view

    Issues: - Trophies - a true PITA. Racers don't want to take the large trophies home on their boats, or by other means. Going forward the SSS should not ship these to Hawaii as they just need to be shipped back by the RC, which is problematic and expensive ($500 for three + packaging)...

    Engine Fail - Tacking to the Marina

    I had an engine fail yesterday while sailing in the South Bay. A few squalls rolled through to add to the timing of a sail only approach to the Sierra Point Marina, and of course the tide was low. It was a bit of slow slog upwind.
