Photo #1 on the top left shows Club Med (since demolished) above entrance to Hanalei River.
Photo #2 is view from Club Med deck overlooking the SHTP fleet at anchor below.
Photo #4 is Kent Rupp aboard his Pearson Triton 28 NERIED. With a PHRF of 252, Kent finished in good time of 16D-13hr.
Photo #6 shows Crealock 37 yawl TAYLORS LANDING skippered by John Carson. Another Crealock 37 yawl, INTENTION, a new design at the time, was skippered by Dave White. White finished in 14D-16hr., Carson in 15D-11hr.
Photo #7 shows WILDFLOWER, a custom Wylie-27, anchored next to Scampi 30 MACH SCHNELL (Hans Vielhauer). WILDFLOWER finished in 14D-3hrs, MACH SCHNELL in 15D-16hr.
