2009 Race Chair

Greetings,

Ruben Gabriel, of 2008 SHTP "Sparky" fame, has agreed to serve as Race Chair for the 2009 LongPac. He is currently making the final edits to the basic race documents (NOR, Rules and Conditions, Sailing Instructions) and they will be posted shortly. Many thanks to Ruben and also to Rob MacFarlane, Tiger Beetle, for a lot of work on the docs.

The biggest change from past LP's is the requirement that all boats be inspected by July 15. Racers will have the option of choosing from a list of approved inspectors or having an inspector assigned by the race committee.

We'll get the docs up ASAP.
