We took Dazzler around Yerba Buena clockwise, barely resisted the temptation to slip off into Brickyard Cove in the light breeze at 4:30 or so - and then we picked up a real breeze. We took Red Rock to port and headed out through Raccoon Strait, sailed close to Sausalito to minimize the flood, and felt our way across the Gate in the dark. Thank goodness for GPS with a mark set for Blackaller, I don't know how we would have found it otherwise. We crossed the line with about 10 minutes to spare, then sailed home. It didn't start raining in earnest until Tom was putting on the sail cover. I was being a wimp below trying to warm up my toes by the heater.
