This is an excellent opportunity for SHTP, Pac Cup, and Vic/Maui racers to make sure their SSB communications are ready to go. We will be operating on three different frequencies, which should allow for not only local but long-distance communications (propagation permitting). Do try to make contact on each of the frequencies, since you are not only testing your radio system, but making sure that your radio does not adversely affect your other electronic systems, and these effects can be very frequency-dependent.

Here is a link to a pdf with times and frequencies: SSB Test Net

You might also try checking into the test net that will be held by the Vic-Maui folks during the Swiftsure race, May 26-27. The details are TBD, but they welcome all interested participants.

I'll try that too - I'm planning on heading out the Strait to SF at the same time as the Swiftsure fleet, weather permitting.

Do you have any info on what times / freqs they will be doing this? I couldn't find any.

No, the last I heard they hadn't hammered out the details. You might contact Michael Wealick (at the bottom of this page: http://www.vicmaui.org/contact) to get the latest info. If I hear anything I will relay it here as well.
