2018 Race Dates

Hey, can anyone tell me how to find out when and where the 2018 race dates are posted? I can’t believe they wait until December, but I think it took at least that long for me to find them last year. Is there some kind of easy to remember rule, like every third Saturday, that I don’t know about? Thanks for any help!
 
Because the calendar is co-ordinated with the YRA, other clubs, etc., it takes a while to get the dates sorted out.
Getting an ebb out the Gate and an available race deck can be tricky, so I've heard.
 
I've only been in the SSS a few years, but it seems like it's usually around December or so because of all the coordination issues with the clubs. Don't miss Three Bridge Fiasco in January though!
 
We used to get a tentative calendar out much earlier. Club reps got together at StFYC around August IIRC, John Craig would open a few bottles of StFYC wine, and we'd hash it all out. There would just be a few tweaks afterward as we coordinated with the host clubs, Coast Guard etc. Those were the days.

Three Bridge Fiasco used to reliably be the day before the Super Bowl, but then the NFL added another weekend of playoffs. There are major midwinters the first three weekends in January, so now you can pretty much count on the 3BF being the 4th Saturday in January. Except when there are 5 Saturdays in January, then it could be either one.
