If you've been driving for long enough, you remember gas rationing in the mid-70's. You could fill up your car on either odd or even days depending on the last digit of your license plate. The LongPac is like that. You can get your LongPac fix in odd years. But in even years you can get your TransPac(ific Yacht Race) fix.

I remember very clearly that my car was odd.

The LongPac and the Singlehanded TransPac happen on alternate years. So 2019 was a LongPac" year. 2020 is a Singlehanded TransPac year. 2021 will be another LongPac year.

First off, I think you guys are doing a bang up job, this is a great calendar. I would possibly be interested in doing an off year long-pac in 2020 , but that's besides the point.

My wife and I (Spartan) are commiting to TBF, Corinthian. Probably doing with a crew member Farrallones, Half Moon. Will be doing full-crew Drake's Bay. TBD Vallejo 1/2.

I'd do Drake's Bay S/DH but the crew really enjoyed it this year, so everyone is going next time. Must have been the chilli and hot coffee this year. Finally brought a stove this time which unsurprisingly improved morale.

Looking forward to a great 2020
