Screenshot 2025-01-18 072014.png Yea!!! Just noticed this morning. We're back!!! 300+ 2025 race entries surpassing last years 299+

In preparation, I just did the rearming kit for the inflatable life jacket and overnight inflation test.

Last year, flipped the kayak in a muddy slough near Eden Landing, forgot to check the life jacket afterwards.

The flashlight I had packed in the life jacket batteries disintegrated with corrosion. The CO2 cartridge looked like a years worth of rust.

Got a small better rechargeable waterproof flashlight to add to the strobe and whistle. A new signal horn since the old one was rusty and non-functional.

Did a couple trips around Red Rock recently remembering how stiff the currents can be there at times.

Hope you all are as excited as I am for this years Three Bridge Fiasco!

Cheers!

Matt

No! Keep adding more weight! You’ve got a long way to go to get to Tortuga’s 20k + lbs! Haha! Hopefully the wind gods will deliver and it’s enough to buck the currents or I’ll be having sundowners somewhere near the Farallones! Have a great race!
