Bernina 217 with easily detachable puller, Ideal for DIY sail making or light canvas work. Zigzag and straight stitch. This machine does NOT have the cam box for 3-step zigzag.
The Bernina 217 is a highly regarded, durable, and versatile machine. I've had this one since 1996. It was in daily service at DeWitt Sails in 1980 when I started working there. It still runs like a champ. It can be set up for everything from Spinnaker cloth up to 8 oz. Dacron (seaming) or up to abour 6 oz. for finish sewing. If you want to sew 8 or 9 oz. dacron sails from start to finish this is not the machine for you. 4 or 5 oz. sails it will sew all day without even breathing hard.
Includes table, motor, thread stand, original manuals and a selection of spare parts. Asking $600.
