Fiasco & Corinthian announcements

Race Chair 0.5
Hello SSS Racers.

Some announcements:

* Final SSS Three Bridge Fiasco scores are posted, including for Singlehanded Monohull / Singlehanded Multihull / Singlehanded Monohull / Doublehanded Multihull and overall.

* There is a Fiasco Awards / Corinthian Competitors' meeting scheduled for Wednesday Feb 19, in person (only) from 1900 to 2100 at Oakland YC. Come to cheer the winners, commiserate over the lack of wind, and learn about the next race.

* The SSS board has also said some things about Fiasco shirts at the Feb 19 meeting --- please check your email from Jan 20 ("where's the swag?") and Jan 30 ("2025 - TBF - shirts"). Any questions, comments or compliments on racer shirts should go to [email protected] because those board members deserve all the credit.

* If you want to race SSS Corinthian, registration for that is open at https://jibeset.net/JACKY000.php?RG=T003637623 ; sign up now to avoid a late fee. San Francisco YC is letting us use Victory as a RC boat again this year, so my current inclination is to have the same or very similar courses as last year. There will be one leg from Blackaller to RYC Bob Klein, and one leg from Bob Klein to Little Harding. Those pairs of marks are as about as on opposite sides of Angel Island as I can find, giving you two big, fun, strategic decisions on which was to go around Angel.

* All boats must have a 2025 PHRF certificate for Corinthian. In the last Friday Roundup, YRA has said that boats needing a 2025 cert should "order your certificate on or before Wednesday, February 12th to have it in hand by the Corinthian registration cutoff of 2359 Wednesday Feb 19th." Order now at https://jibeset.net/YRA000.php?RG=T035469394 if you do not already have one.

Thank you for racing with the SSS.
