Fuel level sender - free

S.S. White # HA106 fuel level sender, new in box. Says it fits tanks from 6" to 24" deep, for 12 volt negative-ground electrical systems. Gauge not included. Works on diesel, gasoline or whale oil! (I'm guessing)
It's been gathering dust in my office for years because when I bought a new fuel tank it came with a sender.
Can anyone use it? Free, come and get it soon or I'm sending it to sender heaven.
