It’s been said that any journey begins with a single step
It’s also been (correctly) said that the hardest part of the SHTP is getting across the start line,

It may seem like a ways away, but July of 2025 is coming soon!

I will post preliminary documents and open registration for the 2025 edition in the next week, as well as seminar’s and other details here and across other platforms

I'm currently refitting quite a few things on my boat, a 1985 Ericson 32-3. Where are the newest safety requirements for LongPac and SHTP?

As a newbie to these forums and site, it took me a while to realize everything happens in the forums. If I can help at all with site organization or anything let me know (cc: DaveH ;)

Photos are incredible! I was already "sold" on the SHTP. These shots are reminding me the days of sanding I've been doing on Rumour's mast this past week are all going towards something wonderful. Thanks for sharing ;)
 
Almost done with the requirements! While it has been said to not borrow a life raft... It might be useful in order to get the last ressources on a nice auto pilot ( not opening a topic on "nice" Ap there and closing the parenthesis). Any life raft available for July 25? If not, the journey is pleasant and 2027 not too far..r 38, Outcast. Cheers, and thanks to the community and that fantastic forum, source of motivation, feeder for dream, essential for knowledge and infos. I wish I could see you more but Saturdays are working days!

Hi Boulouf - there are often life rafts, er, floating around in the SSS community that can be "rented" or "borrowed".
Mine comes to mind, but I have plans for it next summer.
You can also rent one for the SHTP from Sal's Inflatables, or another vendor... no need to own it
