Globe 40

That sounds well thought-out - I like the structure. I hope they get the entries to make it happen.
 
DH Classe 40 damn that would be amazing. Need a lot of shoreside support though.
 
Sounds interesting... like an Around Alone with Class 40s. It would require an exponential budget compared to trying for the under 40 record RTW....... all those stopovers add up.... and a much newer boat in the $300-400k range to be competitive.
 
What gets me is the 18 months of racing. Nice adventure though, with all the exotic destinations. I'm not sure this is what I want to do anyway.
