inReach vs. inReach Explorer or SE

The comm plan requires an inReach Explorer or SE. Are there features required by Pinnacle that are not in the original inReach (squatty body). I skimmed the datasheets and could not see any. The new products have nicer screens, but pairing seems to be the same?

Thanks,

Jak - The original inreach platform does not have all of the communication functionality of the later (S.E. and Explorer) editions and therefore reporting features needed for fleet mapping may not work. Steve
