Lifepo4 battery question

Maybe someone can answer this.(Greg?)
I have a 40ah Lifepo on Stink Eye that works great for Bay races but runs out of juice on longer overnight stuff. I'd like to buy a second 60ah
Lifepo for the longer races and hook them up in parallel to make 100ah. Both will have a BMS and be charged from a 6 amp AC charger on the boat.
No solar. The 60ah will stay at home for shorter races. Will the BMS on both work for charging/discharging while in parallel?

Use them as Battery 1 & 2, not as a single battery. Same age, same capacity, same chemistry, same manufacturer then doing a single bank is OK but I still wouldn't. It's nice to know you have a good redundant solution for power. As a note when you wrote Lifepo to my brain looked like LiPo which of course is a no no. LiFePO4 looks like chemistry class to me, I've used the shorter LFP for 15 years.
