LongPac Boat Inspections

Sparky

Sailor
If you are considering doing this 400 miler, we need to inspect your boat! Please contact the race committee as soon as you can so that we can get you on the schedule. Deadline for "scheduling" boat inspections is July 15, so don't wait.

If your boat is in the Peninsula, we have inspectors there :D. If your boat is in the San Francisco downtown area (South Beach), etc., they too are there. Even if your boat is all the way up here in beautiful Benicia , we can inspect you pronto.

Thanks,
LongPac Race Committee

Boat Inspection Checklist

Please note that the wording has been changed for the following section of this checklist (page 2):

OLD - Strobe: Mounted at masthead. Xenon bulb RRC 4.23

NEW - Strobe: Masthead strobe light with Xenon bulb RRC 4.23

RRC 4.23 is consistent with the NEW verbage in the checklist.

This will allow hoisting a strobe (i.e., ACR Firefly) on a pigstick up the mast.

Thanks Bob J.

Greg Morris
Greg Nelson
Synthia Petroka

I hope last nights meeting was helpful. Racers, please don't wait until July 15th to schedule your inspection, if you can possibly do it.

We have inspectors in Alameda (2), the SF Peninsula (2), and Benicia.
