We can rent a 4 man raft from Sals for around $600 and an Iridium phone for around $250. Not bad prices really, but if someone had one or the other that they are not using this could be an opportunity to pad the kitty a little.
Small boat, so the raft needs to be a 4 man valise.
We already have the antenna and optimizer, so the phone needs to be Iridium.
My wife & I are planning on SHTP 2016 on separate boats. We already have one raft and one phone, but can hardly justify 2 of each. Equipping two boats for an ocean crossing is enough as it is.
