New banners for main web site

Sailing canoe "Kūʻaupaʻa"
Hi All,

If you have some SSS-related pictures, and a smattering of photoediting skills, you are invited to help add some banner photos to the pool that are used on our main site. These banners are selected at random every time a page from the main site loads.

The banner pics are exactly 1000 pixels wide by 160 pixels tall.

They can be 'collages'

If you are going to submit a picture, please size it in advance to the exact 1000x160 pixel dimensions we use. You can attach it or post it here on this thread, and in doing so you are giving the SSS the consent to use the picture.

You should realize that all the pictures already up on our site and various archives have been gleaned already for this purpose -- so look to your personal collections.

So we need 8-9 good ones you don't already have, or one really long one? That would be difficult. I can send you some individual shots if you don't mind putting them together with others you receive, OR they could all be of one particular boat . . . :cool:

BobJ, if you can post pre-made versions like Steve's that would be best, but I guess if I had enough of small shots I could stitch them together also, but it may be a while before I can get to it.
