Cal 2-27 Dura Mater
I had such a good time sailing my Cal 20 down to Half Moon Bay last year! Then everybody got all worried about lifelines and people drowning without 'em. Whoa. Been hearing alot about people drowning recently! Nothing to do with lifelines, I notice. Anyway, I had to go out and get a boat with life lines because I wasn't going to hack up Dura Mater with stanchions etc. and I want to go down to Half Moon Bay again. Such a lovely thing to wake up early in the mist of that magical little harbor. So now I have bought a Cal 2-27 (with lifelines) which I have named .... Dura Mater. Watch out Greg! As soon as I learn how to sail this tank I'm coming after you. And my jib is not all shredded.
