New Hawaii race

Dear Singlehanded Sailing Society.
A group of us from Washington and Oregon states have been thinking about creating a race to Hawaii from Astoria Oregon. This race will be unique in that it will include a bar crossing, creating an additional challenge to entrants if conditions do not cooperate. We will be finishing in Hanalei bay, and will start the race at a date that would be conducive to our fleet finishing in the same time-frame as the shtp and Shaka challenge. If possible we would like to share finish line and awards ceremony duties.
So far, about 8 people have expressed interest in the race.
Please let us know what you think.
Respectfully,
SHOW racing

This could be a troll, given the recent posts about Shaka Challenge boats finishing with the SHTP boats.

This is an example of why I've never liked people registering here without using their real names. This isn't SA.

Loner, I'll give you an opportunity to ID yourself and if you choose not to, I'll delete this thread.
