I've dug out a new feature of the V.Bulletin software and starting posting "Announcements" about forum "stuff". Look above the main discussion threads and you'll see the "Announcements" threads. It would probably be good to check them once in a while.
I'll post forum stuff like banned users, forum tecchie details like how I'm going to be censoring naughty words like "jib" and "winch", and relevant junk like that in the announcements sections. For now I won't be using that for SSS announcements, though, just strictly forum stuff. That could change if the Board wants to use them for other purposes.
