pelagic power consumption

I know there are lots of folks on here with loads of pelagic experience. Can someone give me an idea of a pelagic's power useage tiller-steering in mild conditions? Or not so mild? I've had mine a little while but don't have it connected with the power monitor, plus don't trust my power monitor anyway.
Thanks
Rebecca

In mild it should only be 1-2A but I haven't done extensive consumption test on the Pelagic, just short term. The X-5/Evo pulls 1-3A. I'd get an amp meter that does hundredths if possible.

1-2 amps seems about right for milder conditions.
I saw ~4.5-5 amps average on the return leg of my qualifier which was essentially classic "windy reach" conditions (22-25knots, 90AWA, 6-8' seas) over a 12 hour period.
