Since I was the "2", these photos begin when I arrived by ferry about 4:30 Saturday afternoon. By then, the SSS boats were tightly packed into the Vallejo Yacht Club. We enjoyed dinner there and slept on board. Tom heard rain at 5AM. Fortunately, it stopped for the morning activities and held off while the rafted boats untangled themselves and assembled in the channel for the starting sequence. I'm not a fan of sailing in the rain, but at least it just sprinkled, no downpours. But it was a long-term shower, tapering off again as we neared the finish line.
