As a future Transpac want-a-be and desk racer of this year’s race I really want to thank the race committee and all those who have worked so hard for all of us at home to enjoy this race in such detail with the web postings.

I would like to propose a post race forum thread after the race to hear from the fleet what went right, what went wrong and if they had it to do over what would they change.

This year’s posts are great from those who are able to post but I am sure even they had limited time to tell the full story. I also would like to hear from the smaller boats and those with communication limitation and/or problems as to their experiences.

Last I think it would be a great way to give the fleet the kudos they deserve from us desk racers.

Any other ideas?
