Pre-race moorings for out of town participants

My apologies if this has been covered and I missed it in the forums. I'm preparing for the 2027 race and will be coming from Newport OR. I was wondering if there are some recommended places to tie up a few weeks before the race. I am anticipating coming down a few weeks prior in case I need time to fix or upgrade something. Where can I park my boat, Ranger 33, that is convenient for repairs and will not burn a hole in my pocket.

I have used Marina Bay Yacht Harbor in Richmond.
Close to two yards, chandleries and a well stocked hardware store.

I joined Richmond Yacht Club this year, otherwise would likely still be there.

Two years ago I used Brisbane Marina. On the plus side, it's fairly close to SF airport, so I was able to walk back to the boat after dropping off my rental car. On the negative, the guest dock is at the south end of the marina where it blows like stink. The wind pushing the boat against the dock popped one of my two fenders . Ask if there's an empty slip farther north. I moved to Oyster Point, almost next door and much quieter, after a couple of days.
