The NOR and Jibeset require copies of three documents;

Qualifying sail.
EPIRB/ Comm.
Life Raft Cert.

I tried to upload an ocean sailing resume, but it didn't seem to take. I have a Mac, so it is a pages document, similar to MS word.

What specific information is required for the EPIRB/ Comm doc. I have a Delorme and a PLB. I will also rent an EPIRB.

I will rent a liferaft and make my deposit soon. I will have a rental agreement soon for both the raft and EPIRB.

If it doesn't upload, i suppose I should mail in a copy to the RC.

What address should I use?

Hi Greg, I also use Mac Pages and "save as PDF" before sending. That is listed in the Print dialog window lower left corner.

I don't do that enough to remember where that was at !

For the COMMS info. Is there a number or email for SSS to sync my Delorme to?
I am linked to Jibeset.


Also, the NOR 6.4[g] states "This EPIRB must be registered to the entered yacht." Are rental units applicable ?
The agency acts as an intermediary with my yacht info.
Since they are not registered to the boat like one I would purchase and register myself.

Rental EPIRB's are OK, but we'll need to see a copy of the rental agreement so that we know the agency is reporting the correct yacht.

NOR requires photographic evidence of liferaft in place prior to July 3, if not in place during inspection.
Also sending to Race Info Officer.
