Greetings to all of you for whom Kauai holds something dear. Our friends at non-profit organization Malama Kauai are asking for help from the public so I am passing this along. Those of you who raced in 2018 may recall the SSS donation to this organization to assist flood victims near Hanalei. The Kalihiwai Community Farm project will be closing because the land on which it sits is being sold, but they have found another location, and they need help to obtain a purchase grant. If you can donate or send a letter by this Friday Aug. 30, it sounds like these efforts will help out to preserve agricultural land on Kauai.
