Silver Eagle 2017

Ahoy! Any other SSS'ers signed up for this race this coming weekend in addition to Alan?
Would be willing to give it a try if it wasn't sailing against a herd of multi-hulls...
Thanks!

Sorry, Randy! You know how Dura Mater and I love to sail after you, but we have guests this weekend. Funny thing, sailing all day is not their cup of tea! I nearly had the six year old convinced, but dad says "sailing is dangerous"!!! See you in Drakes Bay!

I might have to add my friend Greg and call us "full crew" so we can race against the Express 34 that's registered....

No love for the Silver Eagle this year?

I signed up last night for single handed. I like the course, needed to get out racing, and had the window between projects. Hope somebody shows up to race against!

There are four monohulls and we've all signed up for different divisions! Pretty funny.

Well, Saturday morning definitely makes it into the top twenty most frustrating sailing mornings, ever.

I think I need a new gas can.

Alan, Beccie and I were disappointed to not get the chance to race with you again after Vallejo. We asked the RC what had happened to you. We had almost got caught in that strong current near the city, but were just able to make it to the start on time. It turned out to be a beautiful day with pretty nice sailing conditions throughout. After drifting around Red Rock, The Slot lived up to its reputation. It was slow going down the Estuary, but nice and warm. Hope to see you out there soon!
