Solo MOB ultimate solution

Greetings Solos! I am new here, but old enough, have patents in the related field. Currently, I am addressing MOB for you. Here it is: submersible long range walkie-talkie with programmed interfaced to control autopilot via simplified and rugged voice recognition system to bring your vessel back to you. That is in case you are still alive and have transmitter with you. The solution is custom for different autopilots. You are welcome to contact me at [email protected]

My idea was to tie a light strong (miracle fiber) line around all electrical leads attached to the AP. clove hitch the same line around a 'weak link' (for fish strikes debris etc) then over board and have it trail 100 feet behind the boat with a tennis ball at the end. When you fall over board you grab the line, rip all the electrics out and you're still attached to the now rounding up boat. Your idea is better but the first thing your idea would require would naturally be a password.

Pulling a cord and ripping the electrics out sounds like a great solution for normal sailing, when my Raymarine autopilot is acting up. In fact, I've come quite close to that a couple times.

An apt password for that unique example of intellectual property might be the one used by Robert Redford in All Is Lost.
