Solo People around the world

I'm new to the forum and have learnt about SSS recently, it is great to see such interest for Solo sailing around the world. I've learnt my ropes through Petit Bateau in the UK, now called Solo Offshore Racing Club (www.offshoresolo.com) and have raced in the single-handed transatlantic Plymouth UK to Newport RI last may, the OSTAR... I'm now hoping to take things further on a faster boat.

Anyhow, www.offshoresolo.com has an article about shorthanded sailing in ireland, gathering popularity there too...

Perhaps we should setup a race which goes round the world from solo club to solo club and each arranges an arrive and a departure...
