Many congratulations to all the competitors who stuck it out and made it to the start line for this year's Singlehanded Transpac Race

May you have fair winds, reasonable seas and great sailing all the way from Raccoon Strait to Hanalei Bay.

I hope that each of you, whether returning vet or first-timer, will have as much enjoyment as I always had out of not only the race experience itself, but especially the passage across to Kauai.

I look forward to greeting all of you on arrival, and being a SHTP 'groupie' under the Tree.

Here's to you all.....sail hard
