Tracking SSS Farallones Race

Heya... the SF J/120 fleet has a few spare Kattack trackers should anyone want to track/live-stream their progress on Saturday.

Kattack is cell-phone based, so the live track will probably only work to about Lightship or so, but it's supposed to keep recorded points all the way to the Farallones and then upload them automatically when you're back in range.

If you're interested, lemme know. We can probably hook up at South Beach Harbor Friday night.

Might not be that good an idea if the coverage is limited :)

Doesn't the SSS 'own' the SSS Transpac transponders? Willing to hand those out??

Any changes to the sailing instructions for the Farallones

Couldn't make the meeting last night, wondering if any changes got announced?

Thanks

dan

Minor changes: All Farallones racers must have bunks permitting a prone sleeping position, plumbed-in heads, a galley and 56 gallons of drinking water (one gallon per mile).
