Many SSS members will be familiar with my harrowing tale of the sea from last summer, when I attempted to sail from Victoria to San Francisco for the Transpac. My new book "Singlehanded Sailing; Two Points West of Sanity" describes what I faced in detail including falling off the boat, complete loss of electronics, ten days of hallucinations, activating my EPIRB and nine days in the hospital. It's a short book that also includes a few papers I've written since my Tips book and some new stuff that I've found interesting. Have fun!
