Ulua 18' Ourigger Canoe

Ulua 18' Ourigger Canoe. Rows, sails, motors. Has a great storage tramp for camping, etc. Since these pics were taken the entire hull has been striped down and refinished with epoxy and sprayed with Alexseal clear. Cross beams taken down and 7 layers of varnish applied. The float has been repainted a slightly darker blue (as well as the motor mount). Two new wood paddles. Wheel dolly system for easy launching. Nesting storage system allows everything to fit inside hull. $2600.

Seriously , it looks very nice. I visited Hanalei one time and was hosted by another Ulua builder, who took me out sailing on his Ulua on Hanalei bay, so I can personally attest that they sail and handle waves very well, even using just a steering paddle, not the rudder as Greg has built.
