VHF with Windex

I got Koke Honu home and one of the projects is installing a fixed mount VHF I had left over from Lightspeed. The windex is shot and surfing around I found this Glomex Black Swan. It is a VHF with a Windex in one unit.

I am leery of things that seem to good to be true. Anyone have any experience with one of these?

I've used the setup that has the fly mounted under the antenna base and the vane on the whip.
Worked well on the Oday 22. Might have been the Davis brand.
