I got her...bought her after doing the 3BF race committee in 2010 actually, to have some sort of boat while I didn't have a "big boat". She's been sitting. I only take her out once or twice a year, now. Joan wants the front yard for plants and whatnot. I was saving her with an eye to doing the Texas 200 but that's at least 4 years out and besides, pretty little Vingilothiel isn't a very good boat for that event for this 6' 2", 300 pound guy.

The boat sails OK, not great, but OK. She rows like a dream, though. For a smaller person who wants a pretty sail 'n oar boat for semi-protected waters, she'd be absolutely great.
 
"Vingilothiel" is a word in one of JRR Tolkiens elvish languages that means "daughter of Vingilot". Vingilot is the miraculous white swan ship that took the hero, Earendil to the functional equivalent of heaven, in the far west to beg the Valar for help in the fight against Melkor...basically, the devil.
