Website Service Interruption

Our web site service provider inno-tech did some maintenance over the weekend and now www.sfbaysss.org is not loading. FTP is also not working. Their support got back to me immediately and is investigating the service interruption.

The SSS forum and compete-at are hosted on different servers. If you can read this message but can't get to our web site, this is the reason. Hopefully, it won't take long to get fixed.
 
Just when I thought the Forum site was OK, it wasn't

The bills are paid now and the SSS forum is back up.

Sorry for the downtime. We'll work on reliability in 2010.
 
DNS change for www.sfbaysss.org

The mystery has been revealed. The IP address for www.sfbaysss.org changed over the weekend and the hosting company didn't let me know.

I' ve changed the IP address with the domain name service provider, different from the .org site host and different than the .net host/domain provider. In 24-36 hours all the Internet DNS servers should start pointing sfbaysss.org to the correct IP address. In the mean time, if you can even get to this forum posting, you can get to the web site with:

http://64.62.155.145/sfbaysss/
 
Website is Back Up

You already know this but I wanted to mark the occasion in the forum with a date and time.

The sfbaysss.org site is back up.
