2010 SHTP videos

I'm going to need some time to figure out how to convert the frame rate on my videos. I'll post them when I get home.

I remember watching the last race and wishing there were more pictures and videos from the racers posted here, so I will try to upload as much as I can.

Alright, here's a teaser, and no, it's definitely not as cool as Ronnie's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbRBQjnpiH4

Wow - Very Cool!

Ronnie, what an awesome video! Best sailing video I've ever seen, and you put it together so quickly. Congratulations on a great race!

One more video

Alright, here is my last video, from the return trip this time. Like the previous ones, there is an HD version.

I chose not to show much from the many days we were bobbing around with no wind.

No kidding. When I was putting together those movies I was thinking of all the cool footage I'm going to take in 2012.

Bob,

I have a little Contour video camera with a waterproof enclosure. I just held it in my hand and stuck it under the surface. Low freeboard helps...

So Cool

Adrian, the sheaves are supposed to be at the top of the mast, not at deck level :). Awesome footage! Takes me right back out there, which is hard to put into words. Thanks!

Culebra's TransPac Video

Okay, be kind... I finally pieced together some footage. Hard to condense down into 11 minutes what felt like a lifetime of experiences. Not as thrilling as Adrian's rocket ship or Ronnie's mean machine, but then I'm older than their 2 ages combined! Culebra Video

Great Vid!

Great Video Paul!
I guess s/v Blue Moon will jump in the video mix here as well...we will be equipped with one of those cool Go Pro Video Cameras (waterproof) for the next race :) But thanks to R Tryon for loaning me the camera I used...

Very cool, Adam. Very cool. I love the transitions and the music. Now for your next "next boat" I really think you should consider this little word: freeboard.
