2023 Three Bridge Fiasco Feedback

I am just SSS's humble servant, Chris, who would have fallen flat on her face without Richard and the others. I might note you were on race deck all day and into the night, too! And let's not forget the eighty-thousand (plus or minus) of emails that went back and forth between Race Committee and the SSS Board, who patiently answered each one, then jumped on Zoom calls when more nuance was needed. Of course, what the racers want are their boat pics. SSS is indebted to Randy Leasure who takes AMAZING photos and tirelessly makes sure social media stays updated for those who don't read the forum. Altogether, it's a lot of work, but it's also fun and supremely satisfying!

Apologies to all racers who had trouble with VHF 69 check in. We had most of the gear to run a 25W down on the seawall but had to resort to a handheld. And we have to find and acknowledge an entry before we can take the next. Hope everybody got their times sorted. Looked like a nice day of sailing.

Thanks, Tchoup, for your willingness to volunteer (and come back for more). The good news is that Richard from Can O' Woopass, has worked some magic on our old VHFs and put together an antenna system that should avoid this problem in the future. Thanks to you too for the LiFPO battery donation! It'll come in very handy when we have our remote stations for the ocean races. So, hang tight and stay tuned. We hear ya
