Antenna Splitter Advice Wanted

Hi All: I am looking for an antenna splitter that will allow me to use my VHF transceiver and AIS receiver on the same antenna (masthead). I have found one for $250 or so (C'mon Man...!!!). As simple as such things are, I would hope for something less expensive and still do the job.
