discussion of the non spin class in the SSS

Hey Jackie, it looks like you've got a bit of a hole in the port side blue panel, and it looks bigger than just a sticky patch. I'd repair it, if you bring it to me in San Jose. Or take it to Quantum, they'll take care of you without the long commute.

Thanks, Syn! Note that I have some sticky-back red tape, used over there on the white section. I'll use that for the blue rip. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for the offer, though! I look forward to seeing you on the water in the Fiasco.
 
Great suggestion Bob, thanks! I pick up some loom today.

The repairs were successful and will be sailing on Saturday in the TBF. The looms are good too. Thanks again Bob!

Engine over the keel made it easy to manage. I tore down the water pump, thoroughly cleaning it and reassembled it with all new parts. Both pipes changed out, new filter, oils, engine flush and wipe down. A step closer to the long pac.

The looms were fine after an hour steaming up and down the estuary for an hour.
