New Sled 4 Daydreamer

As Kees and I walked up to the clubhouse I pointed to your empty slip.

"This guy? This guy will finish for sure."

Sorry to hear you timed out. I'll bet it was cold out there. You are such a good sport. Thank for the photos and the story.

AIS and Iridium Go installed.
Sat phone antenna routed and sealed. I have an upright to mount for the antenna.

Went out for a test of the e-rudder system.
Works a treat!

Replaced standing rigging.

Pulled the mast April 14 and put it back in on the 24th.

Thanks to Ryan @ Rogue Rigging.

While the mast was down I also installed a new GAM SS-2 split antenna.
Replaced connectors and sealed them up.

Cleaned up the sheaves, the ones in the mast base were pretty crusty.
Checked the spreaders.

Since the SHF was postponed I have been getting a few projects done.

Installed a second topping lift and down haul for a second spin pole.
Put new bridles on both poles.

Added third reef line to the boom.

Picked up the last few charts I needed for the set. Thanks Crazy Rhythm.

Had a nice sail to Napa Valley Marina today.
Took about 6.5 hours and only had to motor around 20 minutes.
Had a little bit of everything from light to gusty to just right.
The wild puff and roundup just before going under the Mare Island Causeway bridge was a little embarrassing!

Fair winds, indeed, Greg! 6.5 hours is awfully good time and I like that marina a lot. Old Napa with a "like family" attitude. Really nice. I hope you have a pleasant visit and it's a good thing it's not too hot. yet.

Temps are pleasant and a little breezy in the afternoon. Nice.

Sanded entire bottom and rolled on two coats Cucote.
Finishing up a couple blisters on the keel stub.
Hopefully have it wrapped up and back in the water Friday noon.
