Cheers - BryanRoller furling for this boat for SHTP would be smart. Note the aft stanchions don't meet the required height, nor do the forward lifelines. Shipping back with Matson about $9,000 to be factored in. Good luck!
I'm hoping Falk chimes into this thread at some point. I'm going to go see the boat tomorrow.
Um . . . Unless something's changed in the 6 years since I left, slips at South Beach are not transferable when a boat sells. That local Hawkfarm . . . has a slip in South Beach Harbor, a difficult slip to obtain.
While I'd love to see that Hawkfarm go to a good home and someone with SHTP aspirations, you will have to factor in getting it up to Washington, too. Again, I'd LOVE to see that Hawkfarm go to a good home and a bunch of them have done SHTP and Doublehanded Pac Cup.
There's a fleet of SC27's and Olson 30's in Honolulu, and think a few in Kaneohe and maybe even a couple in Lihue (on Kauai). That means if you get the boat over there and don't intend to keep it, there will probably be a market for it. Not so much with the Hawkfarm.
