2020 Bayview Mackinac Race | Detroit, MI | July 11, 2020
 
Well mixed gender doublehanded IS in the 2024 Olympics and until the recent cancellation the DH "World Champtionship" was to be in Malta.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they chose areas where they could develop shorthanded racing, figuring we already have it going here.

The forced shorthanded racing caused by the pandemic, and the attention provided by the new Olympic event, make this a great time to encourage growth in our corner of the sport. I hope the SSS doesn't waste the opportunity.

Stan Honey sent us a suggestion for a new race.
