Alerion 38 "Surprise!"
Rui was a friend to many of us and did work for many in SSS. If you weren't aware of his passing on Sunday, please read the announcement in today's 'Lectronic Latitude. Also, this was just added:

"Friends and family of Rui will gather for a celebration of his life this Friday, June 10, 3 p.m., at the Rooster loft at Alameda's Grand Marina: 2021 Alaska Packer Place, Unit 20.13."

A further update is that it will be held on the deck below the Rooster Sails loft, and all are encouraged to bring munchies. In keeping with Rui's wit and personality, it wll be a celebration of his life and a good time of sailing fellowship.
