Sailing Mag. looking for Three Bridge history

Last Saturday on the race deck, a writer from Sailing magazine stopped by. She's working on an article about the Three Bridge Fiasco, and is looking for some history on the race and how it got so big.

I sure don't know much. Any of you old timers have some good info that you can share? PM me and I'll put you in touch with her. Better yet, email me. I haven't had much luck with PMs on this forum.
