Singlehanded Farallones: Registrations Open

fauxboat

Race Chair 0.5
Hello, SSS Racers!

The 2023 Singlehanded Farallones race is now open for registration. See jibeset.

Topics for feedback:

1) Is there anything in last year's SIs you disliked? Please share what and more importantly WHY.

2) We hope to enlist the San Francisco Ham Radio club to help track boats, similar to the BAMA Farallones race. This would entail a mandatory role call at 8 PM, 10 PM, 11 PM and midnight (when the race ends) for boats still on the course to report their positions.

3) If we could get an extra volunteer to drive some hot coffee and/or snacks to the radio club after dark, I'd personally appreciate that.

Richard, 2023 SSS Race Co-Chair

Firrst warning is scheduled for 7:55.

Race cutoff time is midnight, so depending on which start people are in they will have 16 hours or slightly less.
