Should we have a Facebook presence? It will be a good forum to share stories, pictures, etc. I see that many of us are already connected there.

YRA, Norcalsailing and others are there...

effing outboards

Dude, don't get me started on Sunday.

My outboard is being rebuilt, I had borrowed an outboard for the delivery back from the Jazz Cup and it worked flawlessly but for the last half mile to the slip. I just assumed that after a little rest it would be fine. Got to the boat with plenty of time on Sunday and of course the engine wouldn't stay on. Played with it for an hour and nothing. Still sailed out towards the starting line but we were about an hour late. Saw you guys in your kite run, looked like you were having fun. Really wished I could have been competing with you.

Next time.

I'll signup for sfbaysss on facebook

I went ahead and setup a SF Bay Singlehanded Sailing Society non-profit organization page on facebook.

If anyone out there has a facebook account, you can become a fan.

I'll post the meeting and race dates there while updating the other web pages.

Let me know if you all have any other good suggestions.
