New Boat 4 Tchoup

I drove the photo boat for the first two days of the Aero Regatta at RYC. So on Sunday I shamelessly peacocked all over the race course hoping for a photo from Lexi. I can't believe she put them on the US Sailing website!

That is a beautiful photo. She is a beautiful boat.

Let me get this straight: Your photo of the 2024 US Singlehanded Championship for the AERO fleet, is the photo that shows up on US Sailing? Congratulations. May I suggest you keep a low profile around RYC for awhile? The Commodore competed in that regatta. Might have liked to have seen his photo there. But it's just a fun time, sailing: Right? And no one reads this forum: Right?

Similar to the Moore 24-SC, yours is the Aero-SC (Space and Comfort edition). With a mizzen.

I love it that the photographer included those photos on the US Sailing website!

Ah. Capsizing. That, ladies and gentlemen, is why I like my high freeboard.

Would it even be possible to capsize Scoot?

Tomales Bay is just perfect, isn't it? The only thing that would make it better is being there with friends. Maybe a cruise-out next season?

I agree, those are wonderful photos and they capture the natural beauty of Tomales Bay. They make that pretty little boat look comfortable and efficient - which it is. Congratulations. Maybe you will organize us for next year's cruise-up?

Tomales Bay, Inverness Yacht and Milly - all delightful

I am a few steps away from sailing with others on Tomales Bay.

If you are looking for small boat adventures with others, consider the Sacramento Traditional Small Craft Association. Don’t be deterred by ‘traditional’, I am sure your modern entrpretation would be welcomed. The SACTSCA events include Tomales Bay (several times), Delta Gunkholing (several times), Big Lagoon (up the coast) as well as other venues.

Keep the sailing fun going with SCOOT.

Cheers,
Ants

I'm game. I know that launch. Fella waved at me once. A friendly wave.

Finally I'll be the one in the big boat. Who else is in?

Happy to say Tchoup's sails were recovered and returned from the outer end of Inverness YC. pier by Milly, IYC's ever attentive Port Captain. How was the Tomales Bay adventure?

Dura Mater and I are heading up the Napa tomorrow. Will probably spend Tuesday night at Vallejo Yacht Club, then on to the Brazos Bridge and beyond. Catch us if you can.
