The Cruise Out Is Back

It's high tide (+6') at YBI at 1100 on Saturday the 18th, and again on Sunday at 1130. I don't know what's going on with the Clipper Cove construction, or whether those who'd want to get ashore would be able to. But otherwise I'd say that works.

Landlubbers could even come over on the TI ferry and one of us with a little boat could bring them out to the raft-up and if they behave themselves, take them back.

Has anyone checked this out? Off the Grid TI
encore! draws 5'10". I like 2.5' to 3' over zero (and rising) getting in and out while hugging the north shore half way in. Once you are half way in the depths open up, but near the south shore there be some dragons. Getting to shore is by tender or swimming to the beach; I would not think using what is left of the docks to be an option. There is now an ADA ramp down to the beach, but no telling what access to the top of the ramp is.

Even without the food trucks, there are restaurants, winerys, distillery, brewerys, a small shop for junk food & ice, a yacht club, TI Sailing center, a six acre park and museums all within walking distance.
